Comet Ping Pong and Gypsy Eyes Presents
Garotas Suecas from Sao Paulo Brazil
DJ
Neville Chamberlain’s Brazilian Rhythms Party
Sat. March 28 - Doors 10pm
Comet Ping Pong
5037 Connecticut Ave. NW
FREE! FREE!! FREE!!!

What can I say? Last time Garotas Suecas came through Comet they whipped the
crowd into a frenzy. I can only imagine how much better it will be now that
we actually have a real soundsystem in the club! I imagine you recall they
are from Brazil, Sao Paulo, to be exact. I imagine you also recall the DJ
Neville Chamberlain has the best Brazilian Party in town and, while he is
not from Brazil, he has been there, and we are once again honored to have
him play for us. It will be hot, it will be sweaty, people will be dancing.

Oh yeah, it is free, seeing how AIG executives have taken all our money, we
figure we can drown our sorrows with joyous music!

DJ Neville Chamberlain’s Brazilian Rhythms party(Spring edition) goes off this Thursday at Cafe Saint-Ex.
Come in from the cold (still, WTF?), have a (discounted) caipirinha, watch some Brazilian videos and shake your booty to the hottest samba, batucada, baile funk, tropicalia, bossa and forro this side of Salvador.
If you’re not sure how to samba just watch the regulars and jump in when it/you feel(s) right.
The madness begins at 9:30PM and goes til dawn (well, til 2AM).
Sponsored by Som Records (doh!) and Peroni Beer.
